Elixir Practice Management Software supports specialised medical doctors with our cloud-based platform. We are a New Zealand-owned and run company with our main office in Christchurch. We pride ourselves on not only meeting, but exceeding client needs and expectations. To continue our growth, we need to add Intermediate to Senior Software Developers to our skilled team.

The Role

Elixir seeks an Intermdiate to Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join our Christchurch team. You will be responsible for developing high-quality, scalable, secure, and robust new features, and ensuring the system is well maintained. The successful candidate will work directly with our Head of Development and work collaboratively with our development and client services team.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Node.js, React, Python, and MongoDB, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a collaborative environment.

The Ideal Candidate

Our ideal Software Developer will have the following attributes:

  • 2+ years of commercial comprehensive full-stack software development experience
  • Proficiency in Node.js, React, TypeScript, and MongoDB
  • Experience in Docker, Python, Go, .NET, and Java
  • Experience in API integration & development
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Skilled written and verbal communicator
  • The right to work in New Zealand (Permanent Resident or Citizen of New Zealand)
  • Experience in Health, or a comparable industry, will be highly advantageous
  • Our office is in Christchurch; however, we would consider hiring the right candidate elsewhere in New Zealand
  • Loves baking and sharing it with colleagues
